Blue Prolific Studios Art Gallery houses the Art of our founder and award winning Artist La’Toya Smith in addition to multiple exceptionally established professional Artists of Texas and further. The Gallery maintains a collection of Realism, abstract, and mix media works. The studio also curates periodic yearly exhibits aligning with different visions or themes. Gallery Curator/Founder
Artist and founder La’Toya Smith AKA LaToyaCreates. Houston based Artist; La’Toya Smith has been honing her skills in Art for several years. Beginning her passion for Oil painting at age 11. LaToya blended her painting skills with sketching, then murals, tattoos, photography, and a BA in Graphic & Web Design making the perfect blend for raw creation in every project. From the start constant traveling as a military family born in Europe caused a natural adaption and inspiration from people. Raw emotion, diversity, and identity is La’Toya’s inspiration and favorite subject.
La’Toya has become an award winning artist and exhibitionist in multiple States while diving into multiple ventures in the creative industry. Since residing in Houston Tx a few of her achievements include being honored at TSU 2017 African American Artist Exhibition, Co-Artist of the 2018 Astros home run alley mural, published illustrator, one of Lawndale’s 2021 Big Show Award winners, and the 2022 City Wide African American Artist Exhibition Juror’s choice Award. As well as creating the Prolific Expo and Founded Blue Prolific Studios is 2018.
