HUE
HUE is an exploration of art through the use of color. Color holds significance in conveying emotion, capturing moments of transition, and communicating on multiple levels. It has the ability to shift the viewer’s mood, guide interpretation, and create a deeper, more personal connection to the work.
Through the intentional use of color, each piece creates contrast, harmony, and movement conveying a visual language. Color becomes more than an aesthetic choice; it acts as a narrative tool, reflecting energy, tension, and growth.
This exhibition embraces seasonal transformation as both metaphor and reality, acknowledging the fluidity of change and the interconnectedness of lived experience. Hue invites viewers into a heightened awareness where vibrancy, complexity, and presence converge, and where life itself is not simply observed, but fully realized in color.
Opening May 9th 6p – 9pm
The Hue group exhibition will showcase a wide range of 2D and 3D works, alongside the debut of an exciting new gallery feature. Join us for the opening reception to experience art, music, performances and more as we celebrate the arrival of summer in a vibrant and creative atmosphere.

brushstrokes of influence
Curatorial Statement:
“Brushstrokes of Influence” honors the profound and lasting impact of the art educator — the one whose hands not only guide technique, but also nurture vision. Each brushstroke becomes a metaphor for mentorship, for the transfer of creative courage and the cultivation of purpose within the next generation of artists.
For the Black male artist and teacher, this role carries a deeper resonance. It is an act of visibility, of representation, and of reclamation — standing as both creator and cultivator in spaces where art becomes a language of empowerment and healing. His hands shape visions born from history, identity, and resilience, leaving marks that extend far beyond the canvas. This exhibition celebrates those brushstrokes of influence — the ones that build bridges between artistry, education, and legacy

Contrast
A creative black-and-white exploration that celebrates the quiet intensity and refined beauty of monochrome art.
This exhibition pays homage to the classic tradition of black and white while inviting viewers to consider its deeper symbolism. Without the presence of color, form becomes more pronounced, emotion rises to the surface, and the meaning within each piece grows sharper.
At the same time, the exhibition reflects on “black and white” as a way of thinking—a lens through which people interpret clarity, contrast, identity, and truth. These works challenge the idea of absolutes and encourage us to look beyond simple binaries to discover nuance, depth, and possibility.
How do you see black and white? As contrast or connection? As limitation or liberation?
Through photography, painting, and mixed media, this exhibition offers a space to reflect on the power of simplicity and the complexity that exists within it revealing how black and white can both ground us and provoke us to see more.
